Hi all, I have always grouped sample chevrons on the wall by colour ie all blacks, whites, natural etc then sub grouped within the colours into profiles and finishes; matts, wood grains, gloss etc.
I was wondering if it would be a good idea to seperate samples based on price? Like a budget section or higher end section? And does this help or hinder when giving a pricing options to the customer?

Displaying Chevrons
Re: Displaying Chevrons
Personally I wouldn't I would want someone to fall in love with a moulding regardless of price. If someone really likes it but it is out of budget, it is easier to sell it to them than if you said these are the cheap mouldings and these are the expensive ones. Don't put up any barriers to a sale in the first place. If they can't afford it then you can point them in the direction of something which is in their budget.

Have to agree with grays, if you group them by price there will be a tendency for some customers to avoid the high end mouldings which means less profit for you. Mine are grouped by colour then size.

Same here, although I tend to group the hand finished and plain woods.
