Fletcher fleximaster spring
Help please i took apart my fleximaster today and cant get it back together the long spring at the top that runs around the handle keeps poping out how can i hold it in place while i put the other half of the handle on? part number 20 is the problem

I did the same with my Fletcher point gun, it took ages to get the spring back into,place. it still doesn't work though. I'll dig it ou tomorrow to see if I can remember how I did it. get ready to stump for new one...

I loosely put the two halves together and then turn the spring in, if you are really stuck send me the gun I will put it together and send it back, assuming nothing else is wrong with it.

Indeed have the main screws only partially located and tightened slightly. Allow the long spring to protrude out the back end. Then use an old traditional wooden pencil as a tool to push the spring into the driver. You should be able to squeeze the two sides together while sliding the pencil out. Then finish tightening the screws!
