Framing multi pained mirrors

Post by Fellows Framing »

Hello,

I am looking to frame a mirror such as shown below made out of several panels/pains. Approx size 70 by 120 cms

What should the separate panels be fixed onto ie what backing board? And with what? And how would you keep the gaps between the panels clean? It looks like there is nothing in the gaps on the picture.

Any ideas anyone please?

Thanks

Sarah

'Paned' I think you'll find. :D

Although you may have been right the first time. :giggle:

There are some highly sticky glues available made for sticking mirrors (local glaziers). And I think you can get dark grouting.
