Hi ya I am looking to identify this fitting for a customer can anyone help.

its a Fletcher Multimaster point. they are used in the Yellow Fletcher guns

thanks for the reply yes that does look like them are they rigid.

Don't think that they were being used for there correct use. could I hammer them into soft wood rather than using the gun?

No they are not rigid and no you can't hammer them in. I have one but never use it these days as I find it an ugly way of building up the back of a frame, narrow 15mm staples and gripfil glue is far better.
