Hello, I have started mounting memorabilia work which is straight forward signature behind a window on a mountboard alongside a photo of the artist. The work is unframed in plastic sleeve for storing.
The guy I am doing the work for showed me some previous work that had been done for him which also included a plaque which was just another window in the mount board but was plastic with black background and had silver lettering. This would often include the name of the artist and may include an inscription. It looked very professional.
Can anybody help and suggest a good company where I can source this type of plaque from? I have scoured the internet and the only company I found which may be able to do it were called signomatic who seem good but have basic colours and could be a bit utility. Would appreciate any advice?
Thanks
Steve

Can you post a picture of the previous work. I have a mate that does plaque-link stuff on his laser cutter using a 'brass plastic', the lettering comes out black. Maybe there's something we could work out.
Obviously this can all be done on actual wood too.

As requested I have attached a picture of an example of the plaque he has been using so far.
It will need to be mounted behind a window in standard mount card, in the example I have provided you will see this has been mounted behind a double mount of multiple colour.
Colours may need to be optional but the writing in this case is not a solid background colour as you will be able to see. It needs to look professional quality and not utility as in many cases this is marketing material to help sell on the signature .
Any help anyone can provide is appreciated. Those of you that have already replied to me, please take a look at this and let me know if this is what you were expecting? Or if you think it can be improved
Thanks again

I'm sure he can do that, he only has black with white under though (at the moment). He's a good chap, helpful & decent - send him a mail on wmbarclay@hotmail.com. I've send him the example you posted so he knows what you're after. If you want sample stuff I'm sure he'll be able to help
all the best

I do a fair amount of Memorabilia, and any plaques I need I order from EBay. A bit of searching and you can find most styles needed.
I have used a seller called Shimieshams who is very good. Just need to allow a couple of days for postage.
Hopefully an image will be attached with an example of a plaque I have used recently. (First time adding photos)
