There aren't many framing competitions around but Gunnar has been holding one for the last few years and the finalists are shown at the NEC Spring Fair. The object of the competition is to show what can be done with a Gunnar CMC. This is the 2016 winner, framing a CD, disc or cassette was the theme:
The other entries can be seen on the Gunnar Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/UKGUNNAR/?fref=ts

Is it done direct from the gunnar software or did you have to import stuff?

Re: Framing Competition
I didn't do it, so it's not mine. It was all created in the Gunnar software nothing was imported, some of the elements are standard templates.
It's a competition piece so its not meant for sale, but from personal experience I have sold reproductions but more often individual elements have been incorporated into customer jobs, it's so much easier selling creative stuff if you have examples to show and you don't have to convince anyone that you can frame - as long as they like it that is.

Re: Framing Competition
I think that particular competition has been and gone, I am sure you could enter it into the next one, assuming it is a recent project?
