What the best way to frame a boxing glove please, possibly with a poster to?
Its 14 cms in depth - can you get deep rebate moudlings this depth if so from where ? Or do you make up own frame from planed timber and stick a nice frame on top? Or do you have to build the back of the frame out? I have seen gloves in plastic dome/covers before, who supplies these please?
thanks

Re: Boxing Glove
I use a wide flat moulding to match or contrast with a moulding that caps it. Mitre it on its side and the rebate lip becomes a seat to fix your capping frame in. We like this look far better than a box poking out of the back of a frame (The "cuckoo clock" effect)
This one wasn't flat, it had a bevelled edge but we liked it.
Ignore the Melinex straps, we changed those for far narrower ones.
(Edit) These were nothing like as deep as yours, I'd have to fix two mouldings together for that depth, with my pocket hole jig!

Re: Boxing Glove
A coved box can offer an elegant solution I think.

Re: Boxing Glove
The inner coved box is within an outer one which is the same size as the frame.

.... but how is it hung?
I think mine was strap hangers but D rings and wire would be fine.
Lion are bringing out wall buddies, they would be perfect.
