mitre trimmer Q

My finger is hovering over the purchase button on an Axminster Mitre trimmer to sort out all the not-quite-45 degree cuts I am getting lately.

Can i ask what a "Top Trim Attachment" is please?

Also, as I will have precut the wood i will not be getting the "Cut Length Attachment" (which i assume is a measuring scale) unless there is another benefit to using it i dont know of? Is it generally handy to have?
