What Cassese underpinner

Post by jon buck »

Hi

Is it worth spending the extra £300 on the Cassese CS88 or will the CS79 be up for the job.
Thanks.

The CS79 is limited to small/medium mouldings where as the CS88 will be able to pin any moulding you will require.

If you are offering a bespoke framing service then your customer will dictate the mouldings you use so you will require the larger capacity of the CS88.

It's the CS88 for me - I got mine yesterday (second hand).

If you've the money then buy new by all means - I went with the recommendations of the guys here and it was a brilliant buy.

It's a very sturdy machine and is easy to use.

When making any purchase of machinery or equipment, it is best to buy the best model you can afford. As each model gets more expensive it has additional features that make it easier to operate and/or it does the job better.
IMHO Cassese makes the best vee nailers and the XL series are much more advanced. They have some additional benefits, one of which is the double action clamping system.
