Hoffman Router

Post by misterdiy »

We are retiring and gradually selling off our equipment and stock and today we are selling the Hoffman Router X line 20 manual. It comes complete with a number of different sizes of dovetail (as pictured). The machine is in excellent condition. Price £500. It must be collected as these machines do not travel well. When we bought it new it had been posted and dropped and never worked correctly so was replaced with our current machine.

Router also comes with a vacuum system for sawdust. Works automatically when the router is operated.

I saw this router in operation a couple of years ago when I was collecting an Excalibur 5000 that I had bought from misterdiy and was very impressed with it. I now have one of my own and would recommend it to for anyone who uses hard woods like oak and ash. You'll never battle again to get a perfect join, absolute joy to use and well worth a long drive.
I'm quite surprised that no one has shown any interest

Thanks Kuduframes. Yes it has been a godsend on hard woods as we did lots of deep ash frames which the underpinner couldn't cope with (stacked wedges) and the joints are brilliant. :D

Great item. Would definitely be interested but sunny Suffolk is a long way from damp Lancashire!
