This went up to Edgbaston yesterday to go up in the chairman's suite. Jack Russell was commissioned to paint an oil from that first day/night match which I then framed for him. The finished frame is 6 feet by 3 feet.
You can't see from the photo, but the frame is also 80mm deep. The pavilion at Edgbaston is modern, so they wanted something relatively contemporary. It is made up from 3 mouldings.
Jack was pleased with the frame. He always leaves it to me although he gives me a photo of where it is going to hang, but he was pleased and the guys at Edgbaston loved the painting (and frame)
Cheers
