Hi all
Hope somebody could possibly advise
I'm looking at a Brevetti underpinner that also glues the frames in the same cycle
https://www.wessexpictures.com/AUT-2112 ... inner.html
Has anybody had any experience with a machibe like this ?
Any pros ? Or cons ?
All advice appreciated
Thanks in advance
Jack

That's a very rugged and very powerful machine. Being coil fed, you can chump away all day without interruption. You will need however, a Hydrovane compressor as it takes quite a large gulp of air with each cycle.
The automatic glue bit is unwise. You're going to get glue going everywhere and then someone's going to forget to clean the glue dispenser overnight and you spend the next day chiseling out all the dried residue.

Are you limited to a single source of supply for the machines consumerables? How quickly can you get it repaired if it breaksdown? How severe will the loss of revenue be, if if it's out of action for your business? Will you be able to operate with some kind of back, if the machine goes down while working to urgent deadlines?
I'm not expecting answers from you, I'm just suggesting some risk factors to consider. Sounds like a good bit of kit and might be just what you business needs.
