The threads title included the term "budget priced spray guns", but we're still talking about a fairly high price tag. We just talking hundreds, instead of thousands. Since we are not spraying people's expensive cars, but only wood ,the technical requirements to do this don't require the most expensive guns.

To get back to people being cheeky and asking for discounts...

It must work often enough for them to keep doing it. As much as we find it annoying, are we (at least partly) jealous that we're not cheeky enough to try? I know I kind of am!
Thanks,

andrew

I guess we should be grateful we are not running antiques shops, and get one of those " Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is visits
Those "celebrities" make some extraordinary and cheeky low offers and mostly get away with it :head:

It's funny that you should mention that. My new insurance policy for my new shop is a policy for art dealers and antique dealers. I've no idea why, but my broker assures me that it the right policy for my business and does cover me for picture framing and restoration. I don't think I will bother with the antiques somehow.

Just seen this in my local Indian Mini Market.
Maybe this Naunton notice might discourage anyone planning on asking for a discount
