Morso blades - where to buy?
Need to buy some new blades, does anyone know where the cheapest place to get a set is?
Alternatively, does anyone have some nearly new blades they're looking to sell?

Re: Morso blades - where to buy?
I bought my last set from Quality Wood Mouldings - +44 (0) 2867 722222. I can't remember exactly but it was around the £170 mark (+VAT)
Good guys to deal with too btw

Re: Morso blades - where to buy?
I bought my latest brand new set recently from Mainline's web site, simply because they were the lowest price of all the suppliers with them in stock at the time, and delivered next day.

Re: Morso blades - where to buy?
We have bought a few sets from Framer's Corner which are slightly cheaper than the Morso ones and just as good, never had an issue with them.
For my sins I own and operate

Re: Morso blades - where to buy?
I purchased Framers Corner blades and in my opinion they lasted longer before sharpening than Morso. I always had my blades sharpened at the same place so there is no difference in the quality of sharpening. I reckoned to get about 50% more life out of Framers corner blades than Morso before sharpening.

Some time ago, IFGL, one of the FF long standing and respected members carried out some serious research in to the two makes of blades that have been mentioned. I recall this comparison made very interesting reading . Unfortunately, I did not book mark the posts
Perhaps someone can direct us to those old posts and the findings?
