Could anyone tell me a little more info on what's involved in getting an arqadia account? This is the signup form I've found:
https://www.arqadia.co.uk/SupplyImages/newacc-ltd.pdf
But there's all sorts in there about "Please provide in your opinion concerning the ability of your customer to meet a financial commitment of £ per month." and We enclose your administration fee of £ inclusive of VAT. along with a lot of info on your bank details.
Do you have to guarantee them a certain amount a month? I'm interested in ordering some moulding, and I already use their mountboard but I can't guarantee them anything per month as I've just started out. All I'm after are their prices to compare really to decided who to go with.
If I can't get an account, is there anyone with an account who could tell me the current prices for:
https://www.arqadia.co.uk/productdetail ... =BBB089001
https://www.arqadia.co.uk/productdetail ... =135167000
Or know where I could find their prices online? Thanks for any info.
Arqadia Account
Re: Arqadia Account
If you register on their website for an online account (not a credit account) you should be able to see the prices. Also order stuff and pay for it on a pro-forma basis.
As long as you establish that you are a bona fide business then there should be no problems.
If you feel you need for a credit account then you do have to jump though a few hoops.

Re: Arqadia Account
this is a little bit left field ..........
pick up the phone and speak to them, they have very good customer service and are very helpful, they will answer any questions you may have
I have a pro-forma account with them (never tried to get a credit account with them for some reason) and I place all my orders on line with them, they have my card details, so they take payment straight away, which I have no problem with

Re: Arqadia Account
I don't think you can do that without an account first so as Steve says you'll have to pick up the phone! I have cash accounts (pro- forma) with Arqadia, Wessex and R&H etc.... you order and pay at the same time.prospero wrote:If you register on their website for an online account
FYI, Wessex stock Arqadia boards and will sell single sheets as do Rose & Hollis whereas ordering direct from Arqadia is a minimum of 5 sheets of the same colour. That's fine if it's one of your stock colours but for those one off colours single sheets are very handy

Re: Arqadia Account
I see from your link that it's jumbo board you're after.... that's a pack of 125 sheets only (pallet) direct from Arqadia
Edit, my mistake you can get packs of 5 jumbo from Arqadia

Re: Arqadia Account
I buy Arqadia boards from Wessex who I do have an account with. And as David said Wessex will supply in single sheets and if you are fortunate enough to be near a Wessex branch you will find they have a very low minimum order if you collect.
Also, if you take a bag of doughnuts for their tea break they are even more helpful

Re: Arqadia Account
Thanks for all the info. I wasn't aware they'd set you up and account if you rang, the signup form I found was the only way I thought i could get an account. Gave them a ring today and they set me up and account within the hour. Thanks again for the help everyone, appreciate it
