Framer Down.

Post by prospero »

Members may be wondering at the absence of Mark "Not Your Average Framer" Lacey over the last couple of weeks.

Had a call from him from his hospital bed and it seems he has suffered a stroke. He couldn't talk for long but he managed
to tell me he was more-or-less OK apart from a weakness on his right side. Nothing else to report at the moment, but he will
be away from the forum for a few weeks.

I'm sure we all wish him a speedy recovery. :D

I'm very sorry to hear about Mark's stroke. I had been wondering if he was OK as he hadn't posted for a while. If you speak to him, please pass on my good wishes for a full recovery.

Ah :( that's sad news indeed. I hope things pick up for him soon. I did think something was up due to his lack of posts.

Thanks for the heads-up.

Thanks for all your best wishes.

Currently I am not making much progress getting my right arm and leg to improve. In the hospital, I used a zimmer frame to get around, but now they have me using a quad stick and this seems to be loosing me much of the use of my right arm, which I worked so hard to get back.

Some friends are getting me an old zimmer frame in the next few days and hopefully this will reverse this trend and get back the operation of my right arm.

My upstairs flat is very small, so there's not much room to get much exercise and I'm not currently allowed to use the steps to get downstairs and out of the flat, but I'm hoping this will change soon.

There's not much else to tell you guys right now, but I'm still going for it.

All the best,
Mark
