Compressed air setup - help needed!

Evening all,

I have recently purchased...

Bambi BB24D silent compressor
U300 underpinner
Omer 53.4 Heavy Duty Air Flexipoint Driver
Legris Blow Gun with reducing valve, long 75mm

I am after some advice as to how best to connect it all.

E.G What sort of hose, can I split the hose 3 ways, what sort of connectors are best, can I run all three at the same time time etc. etc.

The compressor and U300 come with female 1/4" BSP threads. I think the other 2 do too.

Any and all advice would be most helpful.

I Bambi bb24 and have a saw, a underpinner, a staple gun and an air gun all available for use at the same time . I use 6mm plastic hose which is semi-rigid. It works ok but I'm looking for something more flexible. It's all held together using the 6mm press fit fittings from lion (the black plastic ones with a blue press fit ( you may find a better range in eBay).

That’s really helpful - Lion supplied me with some 10mm clear rigid hose but I think that would be even worse in terms of flexibility - good to know the 6mm stuff works well.

I have seen a few coiled hoses out there that might help in terms of flexibility.

I would give these guys a ring and tell them that you want to use brass BB25 couplings with a 6mm hose, 30m probably. You need a coupled line from your compressor to the underpinner and two fixed T junctions off it, each terminating with a female coupling. These would be positioned above your work-bench and two spiral hoses plugged into each to feed the nailer and blow-gun.
The threaded female coupling to the compressor should have PTFE tape wrapped around the threads.
All the hose joints should also include PTFE tape and a hose clip to fit.
When connecting the hose, dip the ends first in some boiled water to soften it and then push it onto the fitting.
You may not have enough air to run everything all together but it shouldn't take long to fill up the compressor receiver again. It might be best to not use the small tools when using the underpinner.
