Gunnar Rapido - For Sale

Post by MarkR32 »

Hi All

So we bought a Gunnar Rapido to try and understand the crazy world of CMC and fancy mount cutting .... and what a steep learning curve. but that being said we have been truly hooked and with the support from Sarah at Gunnar we are now looking for a new model which in turn means our 'little' learner machine has to find a new and exciting home.

So the Gunnar Rapido, its a 20 year + machine so please don't expect anything pristine, The deck in perfectly flat, the cutter and controller both work very well. the hose clamps as well work fine.

It will require some tender loving care but then again who doesn't :), we noticed on large (circa 80cm apertures) it is starting to hook ever so slightly on the 3rd cut, meaning the blade heads inwards toward the top of the aperture, but it is only slight and we (the royal we) Sarah at Gunnar believes in could be the bearing just need a nip up, but in worse case it could need new bearings (I'm only saying this so you are aware, anything under this size cuts true and straight.

again this is an older machine but a strong machine, it comes with the PC with the software downloaded (you may need to calibrate depending on your mat thickness etc etc etc, it has some spare blades.

I'm looking for £1000.00 and will even throw in a cup of tea or coffee and begrudgingly may be even a biscuit or two.

Morning All,

The very clever Sarah at Gunnar has kindly done some research on the machine, and found that over its life its been used in a number of fast pace high volume businesses so the Rapido is capable of handling high demands, however it is suggested that a more relaxed pace of life would suit the old girl now-a-days

come on, grab a bargain and more importantly .. save yourself from the back pain of leaning over a manual cutter :D

Hi just wondering if this is still available?

Would you consider letting Pack and Send come one pick it up for delivery to Belfast?

Thanks D
