Hi all,
I'm Bertram, and I make bespoke furniture in South East London for the most part. However, I have been doing a fair bit of framing as well over the past 18 months. I've self-taught myself gesso and gilding and have been given very useful advice from other framers along the way too. Of course, the deeper you delve into a topic, the more you know that you don't know, or some such Socratic tidbit.
This forum seems to be a marvellous place with much shared and invaluable knowledge and I look forward to bending ears and getting to know you all.
B.
Greetings!
