Posting on the for sale section should be no different from posting here.

At what point is your post being rejected?

What error messages are you seeing?

Initially, I thought that you are unable to post in the Sales/Wants section, but clearly that is not the case.

I'm baffled by this thread, what are you trying to say?

I think you are reading the red reminder notice as an instruction. If you make sure your profile includes your full details as described then just write a post as normal.

initially i was just being placed in a loop every time i went to submit i would be taken back combining this with the red message i thought it wasnt being posted. i changed the equipment i was trying to post with (ipad iphone then laptop)
even tried changing my details ie email then my account became deactivated . but when it was reactivated by John the post appeared.

There is a very simple reason why those advertising are required to give their name and address. The forum merely provides this the sales and wanted section as a free service to forum members and does not have any other part in any resulting transactions, therefore those who are buying anything though the adverts have a reaonable requirement to be able to determine who they are dealing with.

This is why we ask sellers to identify themselves. As most internet users will already be aware, the internet is not always being used by honest people with honourable intent. The forum is merely doing it's best to prevent any possible abuses and thereby to protect it's members. It's as simple as that and does not suggest any other motive. I hope this makes this clear to all who may want to know.
