Post by red »

I'm thinking of buying a manual laminator, i've seen some on ebay but unsure of their quality.
are there better models,
also what is a good width size?

I have a HotPress JetMounter JM26 which is fine for widths up to 66cm.
It is foot operated or has an automatic setting.
It is a great machine and perfect for almost everything I need it for, mainly for drymounting photographs.
If I had more space I would get a lightly wider model.
I don't have experience of any others.

I have in the past had 2 of the eBay ones, they do the job, size wise I started with a 76cm wide one, the widest I could afford at the time, then later got a 102cm (I think ) wide one, much better build quality, so get the widest you can afford
