That's a lot of bench for the money! Well worth checking out the video as well. I started building a new bench earlier in the year and it did not get it completed at the time, it will be completed, but I need to build it out in the back yard and it's keeps raining and I need a dry day to get on with it. Having seen this bench, I think I might slightly adapt my design to add some of those small bench end shelves. Really nice benches I think.

Given the increasing price of sheet materials, not a bad price.
For an 8x4, I'd want centre legs, and a lot more more support under the top, to keep it flat, but I reckon it should be adequate at smaller sizes.
Also like those end shelves
