Just had a call from the Allesley Hotel. It sounds like their reservation system might be in disarray!
I would advise that anyone who has booked a room should confirm their reservation without delay.

I have just phoned the hotel, my booking ok.
The receptionist said they were ringing round to make sure the rooms were still required, for your own peace of mind you may want to ring if you reserved a room and they havent been in touch.

Good point - re-packed, along with a Berghaus jacket, fleece and a huge throw. Wouldn't want to get stuck in a blizzard on the M40 unprepared!!!
Power bars to follow!

Now that's something I
really don't need. Got snowed in at Bath Uni many moons ago. No food in uni shop, but at least there was beer!
