Alec Palmer did a demonstration at the FATG weekend, using rare earth magnets to secure a double sided frame.
Technically not difficult and looked and worked really well imo.
Essential items he used were a 10mm Forstner Bit from Axcaliber, 10mmx5mm Neodymium Magnets (part no.F645-N35-20) from FIRST4MAGNETS/MAGNET EXPERT.
The placement of the magnets needs to be exact. he used very short cut off pins in the frame to ensure accurate placement of the two frames.
