It seems that mount board cutters come in different lengths
Is there a size that is better than others or should I just go for the biggest that I can fit?

Re: Mount-board cutter
The longer ones are designed to be able to fit sheets of mountboard longways.
In theory bigger therefore would be better - but they are big awkward machines if you need to move them around a lot. They also need to be on a perfectly flat and level surface to work at their best. So think carefully about space before opting for the biggest one.

Re: Mount-board cutter
Hi Jeremy
I have been given a keen cut flexo plate cutter that's almost 8 ft long, it has the Futura head on it and is basically an 8ft Futura with all of the arms and everything you would get with a Futura, I'm tempted to cut it down to a more reasonable size but this does seem like sacrilege, having said that a smaller one is more manageable, more useful and strangely probably worth more money, I'm thinking 5ft would be a reasonable size
