Hello all.
Can anyone direct me to a supplier for cardboard boxes for posting large frames in.
Ideally looking for boxes that would accommodate a 36"×24" frame. Been searching online but having real difficulty finding any boxes at the right sort of size that aren't also far too deep to put a frame in.
Thanks

Try kitepackaging.co.uk or davpack.co.uk - I think Lion also used to sell some but not looked for a while.
Hope this helps

If it's for occasional use then the best bet is to go to your local bicycle shop where they will be more than happy to give you their big delivery boxes. These measure around 1m x 1/2m x 20cm and are how their bicycles are delivered before assembly.
They have to pay to dispose of them.
If you want to have custom made boxes, then you would usually have an up-front tooling charge with a minimum order value.
Could be expensive.
I buy large sheets of double ply corrugated cardboard from Kite packaging and make up my own custom size boxes.
A two-part lidded box can be as strong as a crate when assembled using packaging tape to close the corners.
You could make a template if you were cutting out several the same size.

We get them from ascdirect.co.uk if you go on the boxbuilder you can make them any size you need. Minimum quantity is 25 of a size.
