PRICING SOFTWARE ESTLITE

Post by CreativePhotographer »

Hi there

Can anyone please tell me the marked differences between Estlite and BBest? - I am looking for a simple package but understand they're both relatively simple to use. As far as I can tell, most people use Estlite.

Thank you and wishing you all a peaceful Yultide holiday.

If you are only doing single window mounts, no shadowbox displays, special mounting techniques, or custom frame finishing, etc. It really doesn't matter what you use.

I use BBest, I haven't used Estlite, one of the main differences I think is that using BBest there isn't any customer records, you can add customer details to an invoice and print but there isn't any facility to go back to a previous invoice/job, once printed it's 'gone'
I suppose it depends how much you value that feature

I also use bbest and am very happy with it. If you print the quotation/pricing info to pdf you can keep them on file.

Many thanks for Bbest replies. Is it simple to use? I really am not looking for an all singing, all dancing package. I just want to keep it simple.. as long as it can calculate each work ticket (and I'm guessing it will take both Wessex and Lion detail). I know I can update to Estlite from Bbest if I need to.

Estlite/Bbest has its own sub forums, maybe if posted there the software (and forum) owner will reply.

Anyway - it’s probably the same as most other programmes, easy once you know it. I believe there’s a free trial so why not give it a whirl.

It is easy to use but it did take me a bit of working out how to set it up, if you go for the trial let me know and I can give you some pointers to save you time
