In the box of mouldings I inherited from the guy I bought my business off is a chevron in dark/old gold, 17mm x 20mm from Wessex with the code MO2011, now discontinued.
A client with wandering hands found it and has their heart set on it, I've told them it's no longer available (my bad for not going through all the old stock, checking for discontinued lines, but in my defence it's a big box, also for letting them poke around).
I don't suppose anyone has any of this lying around, I need about 3.2m of the stuff.
Not holding my breath :c)

You’re assuming people will know what if looks like and/or can remember moulding references.
It could well be something other suppliers have. Post a photo of the sample!
