Question about mount board

Post by woodman-46 »

I use a lot of mount board from DJ Simons called Elite 02 ice white. I have been told by them that the company who makes that has gone bust. Can anyone put there confirm that.
This mountboard served me very well and worked out at about £3.70 when bought in larger amounts. It has a slight ingress texture.
If this has been discontinued can anyone suggest a company for mountboard at a good price ?
Thanks

It was made by Slater Harrison/Colourmount, who went out of business with no notice in January this year.

My understanding is that D&J Simons are now stocking Daler Rowney boards as alternatives.
