Old aluminium frame fixings

Post by girlfromkent »

Hello framing folk

Does anyone happen to have, or know where I can get, a pair of these old alu frame fixings?

That doesn't look like it's being used correctly. I think that's just a corner piece that should have small screws for bracing against the frame.
Search for aluminium frame hardware. Lion does some.

I might have some in a can of obsolete hardware. They go back to the 70's and 80's. I am in the US.
Personally, I would suggest swapping the out with new.

Thanks both.

Yes the frames are very old. Unfortunately the new fixings don't fit.

Guess it's new frames o'clock!
