Backing for Print sale POS

Post by Sinerva10 »

Hi
I have mounted some prints and need some advice on the best backing for sale 9f print only no frame. What is the most cost effective option that gives strength when customers are flicking through prints ? Where can I also get celephane wrap to keep prints clean ?

They’re already mounted, so you already have the undermount they’re mounted to - I hope. So just now add whatever frame backing you’d normally use and factor it in along with the undermount, Are you using an undermount though, if so why isn’t that enough? If not, use that!

If you’re fixing the prints to the window mount - naughty naughty - and just want a stiffening board, then greyboard, or anything a supplier may be selling off cheap.

Cellophane is available from florist suppliers or packaging companies - I used this one.
