Business/equipment for sale

Post by Hannahframer »

Sale of framing and fine art printing business.

Located within a grade2 listed building just outside Newton Abbot, Devon, framed@hannah’s has provided a bespoke picture framing and fine art printing service for 11 years. It also photographs or scans artwork to provide digital images ready for printing.

With a loyal, largely artist-led customer base, the sale offers a new enthusiatic owner the opportunity to grow the business by reaching a wider audience. The current owner is long past retirement age and has been operating the business for just three days a week for the last few years, opening to customers from 9.30 am to 4pm, Tuesday to Thursday.

Apart from a Facebook page, no advertising is done, relying instead on good quality workmanship and good customer relations to instigate promotion by word of mouth.

List of equipment:

Hot Press HGP2 with bench with quiet running Javac CC series vacuum pump. Needs new gas springs.
Morso F mitre cutter with two sets of blades
Cassese underpinner C88
Keencut Ultimat Gold (recently purchased hardly used 2nd hand)
Epson SC-P8000 wide format printer (purchased 21/7/22)
Plustek Optic Pro A320 Scanner
SupaWarm 250 watt dehumidifier
Canon iP7250 A4 printer
Haden cylinder vacuum cleaner 195272
Majik Wand heat sealer
Mountboard rack/work bench
Kneehole desk
Chevron Display Stand
Four square tables 60 x 60 x 70cm
Gopak economy folding table 1220 x 685 x 698high GP82 grey
Two floor standing lamps
Stanley Electric staple gun

Plus stock of mouldings, mountboard, Art-Bak backing boards, fine art paper, workshop tools, etc.

To continue the service to my customers I would obviously prefer to sell the business, but if that’s not possible then I would sell off the equipment.
