Hooking Keencut Ultimat Gold

Post by fraggle »

Hi
Having issues with slight hooking corners which I cannot seem to resolve.
Have checked blade depth, have replaced blade TechD012 (I do this frequently), mount cutter is fixed to work top, slip sheet not worn.
Any other suggestions to resolve issue?
Any working parts that might need lubricating/tightening?
Am using same mat depth as usual.
Thanks

If it's a one-off it could just be a mountboard that isn't quite right.
If you're getting it on all boards check for lateral movement on the cutting head.
There are a few tightening screws on it so it's possibly come loose.

Thank you. I always use the same mount board. Have tightened all 4 hex screws a little. Am trying a TECH-S 012 blade instead of TECH-D 012. It is LJ 1400 mountboard. It has improved quite a lot but still a sligh curve where blade enters. How do I know when is correct tightness please? I don't want to overtighten and damage it. Thanks
