Does anybody know of a self-adhesive tape that is soft to line a rebate to protect artwork?

Lineco Frame Sealing Tape is the most common used for sealing the inside side of a frame, it's not soft though, it's aluminium and paper faced.
Lineco Volara Foam Rabbet tape is used on the inside face to protect canvases. That's a soft foam. The one I have is 6mm wide.
