Morso v Vertical Twin saws

Hi Guys would appreciate any advice. I have a Alfa twin say and am disappointed with the cuts essential there is a 'rock' in the moulding and the vertical clamps on their own do not seem sufficient especially on narrow mouldings and im thinking of puurchasing a Morso MORSO Mitring Machine F + 10 Delux Metric its automatic etc Its a significant investment and Im wondering the pros and cons....i know its slower but are there other limitations

Many years ago I too had a volume framing business where I purchased a double mitre saw which boasted a large volume of cuts per hour.
I too had exactly the same problem as you described, gaping mitres and the tendency of the moulding to rock whilst being cut.
Why? because we relied too much on the machine viz a viz the clamps, doing all the work.
We removed the clamps and relied instead on the operator to firmly hold down the moulding and reduced the blade advance speed as well.
A few less frames were cut but the mitres were always perfect from then on.
Maybe try it first before looking elsewhere.
