Re: Spam on forum
A gentle reminder please that hitting the report button on ANY strange posts alerts Moderators to spam or any other problem. Otherwise it had to wait until we next log in and notice it ourselves - which isn’t always daily, particularly during holidays or other busy times.

Re: Spam on forum
Another spam - this time in my message in box, which I am loath to open and don't know how to report an un read message. Advice would be welcome, thanks.

You can report from the exclamation mark within the message. Poster has been removed already. You are good to open the message and delete it. It won’t do any harm. Don’t follow any links in the messsge though.

Thanks - never knew that about the exclamation mark. You say he has been removed but I have another message from him/it today.

Re: Spam on forum
As Moderator I’ve added the “member” and IP address to the ban list. Unable to do more. So hopefully it will die down/stop. If anyone gets any message from them please DELETE. Do not follow any links.
If anyone gets a message from a different member please report it.
Thanks.
