Onyx 90 board cutter

Post by genguskarn »

Hi

I am new to the forum but have been reading and enjoying the posts for a couple of months. To step up my framing to a more professional level I recently purchased a Morso guillotine and a Cassese underpinner of E-bay. I have been very impressed with the results but would like a more professional tool for board and glass cutting. I have missed out on a couple of Keencut 4000 systems but came across this item

Does anybody on the forum have any experience of this model and is it worth the investment.

Cheers

I thinlk it sounds OK as long as it is easy to change cutting heads.

The price is about half in The States though!

The link has a sales video too!

You could always save yourself some time and hassle and get pay one of the nice people on here with a CMC to cut all your mounts for you. Just measure up the pics and do all your sizes. Place an order and get the mounts in the post.

Would save having to buy mountboard, especially in 20 pack sizes.

Just an idea - which I am toying with, rather than cutting a 16 x 20 mount with a big opening and 6 smaller openings on the side by myself- doing that with the ultimat just doesn't appeal. Well not after dealing with baby, wife and civil servants all day

Hi

If you are still on the look out for an upright cutter. I have a friend who is selling a Excalibur 5000, its about 1 year old.

Give me a call if you wish for more details.

Cheers
