Firefox 3
Just downloaded this new version. Have to say I see no reason to continue with IE except for testing websites. Not checked out all the new features but really like the search within favourites/history function. Also all the smilies on the right have sprung into animated life.

I never knew there was a Firefox 2, never mind 3.

Today is actually Firefox 3 Download day. They are trying to create some sort of download record.
I like Firefox a lot. I've used it from the original version and it's always been faster than IE and more reliable and had many more features. It's so rare for me to start IE, that I forget what it looks like!
Stumbleupon is a free Firefox plugin that is awesome. I've found many fantastic websites with it.

Re: Firefox 3
I love firefox and anything that I can get free that works on a computer!
I found an interesting site called http://www.osalt.com, which give a vast array of free alternative software to rival even the most best commercial "paid for" software has to offer.
I have to worry though as there is a programme which rivals photoshop called the GIMP
. Its good but got a crap name!!!

Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird (email) are superb, won't use MicroSoft stuff even if you paid me.

I banned M$ since 1990.... It jerks my Mac. I even don't use "office" but still prefer Appleworks.....Frame Faery wrote:Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird (email) are superb, won't use MicroSoft stuff even if you paid me.
