I think you will have to draw your opening(s) with a pencil and cut in the same way as multiple apertures. As far as I am aware there is no option of an extended scale on the cutter bar but it could be worth a phone call to Keencut to check.
Were you aware that you are entitled to a free training day at Keencut in Corby when you buy a new machine which can be taken any time in the first 12 months after purchase? The supplier of our machine did not tell us and it was only when calling Keencut I found out. The course is run by Dick Clarke who writes for Picture Business and is definitely worthwhile. Additional staff are charged at £25 if required.

Yes, there is an extended margin guide available, or at least there was one listed on my original Keencut info, but I can't see that most framers would ever need to cut enough massive margin mounts to justify the extra expense.
However, If you a into having all the extra bits of kit...........

A single pencil mark around 5mm (ish) before the aperture is a lot cheaper than an extension. Just experiment a bit to find the point at which the blade touches the mountboard for the mark and then gives a clean mount cut. I use this technique mainly for multiple apertures as they invariably require start cuts beyond the available guide length.

Incidently the wide margin kit (left hand scale) is also very useful for multiple apertures.
