My missus used to be mad on him when she was a teenager. Once he got married she went off him and found me.

I offered to take her to the concert but she wasn't interested. We're hoping to see The Specials instead. :D

We saw the Blues Brothers 8) in Birmingham several years ago now, that was a great night out.

More recently we've seen Foo Fighters at the NEC and Red Hot Chili Peppers at the Richo Arena in Cov. Foo Fighters put on a great show, wasn't as impressed by the Chilis, they acted like it was another session in the studio and rarely ventured more than 10 feet from the drums.

Australian PF are brilliant - good music and a good light show.

A few years ago I was on Popmaster and got through to the 3 in 10. It was 3 songs by A Ha - I had no idea, but ever since, whenever Sun Always Shines on TV, Take on Me or Living Daylights is played I drive my wife nuts with my in depth knowledge of A Ha ( all I know are these 3 songs!)

We are off to see a very popular local band in a couple of weeks - The Lancashire Hotpots - playing at Southport Arts Centre. They are a bit like a cross between The Barron Knights and the Spinners, but are very funny -

The band members are all ex DJ's and music tech lecturers and what started as a bit of a joke has turned into a local phenonomen.

Look up Chippy Tea too!

Hi Robin C
The Lancashire Hotpots that’s a fun clip, reminds me of one of my brother Farmer mate, he goes to all these farmers shows and has a good old knees up the end with some quite near the Knuckle country groups.

They all end rat arsed with a belly full of Ale.

They take with them these thumping sticks with boots pivoted on the ends and Ale bottle tops screwed up the length of the shank so they can bang them up and down to the rhythm of the music.
It’s a bit sad :( but I went once and did have a good time 8)
