when all is said and done - there is more said than done.
Re: show em to me
The other day one of our 'girls' - June (who is 'well blessed') stuck her head in to the workshop "I'm looking for some mounts for Mrs X"
('Mrs X' is a PITA - good customer but a PITA - takes the place over, larger than life, wears me out - but sometimes she sends her husband in to collect things, unless she wants to order more stuff)
They were large mounts so I'd kept them in the workshop rather than the usual stuff-waiting-for-collection place; they were in a big poly bag, right by the door where June was - I pointed to them and asked if Mrs X or her husband was collecting - it was her husband.
June picked the bag up and left - 5 seconds later she's back asking ............
........."Should I get them out for him"?
I looked over to my framer, Mike - he had his back to me - shoulders shaking - turned back to June, who was starting to realise what she'd said, or rather, how a pair of dirty old men could take what she'd said, and said - "We've got a CMC now June, no need to distract customers from overcuts"
