advice wanted

Post by mikeysaling »

it wasn't bad enough that my razer gave up the ghost - now my BOSE (yes £100 bose) earphones have sheared off at the point of attachment to the left hand headset (will not glue with anything i have plastic cement superglue etc) basically such a small area to repair. (pity the 2000 watt miele does not go awol! but such is life).

Anyway these are 3 years old and i dont think im gonna get them fixed under warrenty and its not worth paying to have them repaired after this time.

I need a good set of heads so i can watch things i pre record while wifey watches miele updates - sorry im obsessed at present i mean soap opera like the news and the bill and all that other crap that appears on a nightly basis!

anyone got any suggestions recent purchases etc - dont need to do the £100 again i think i paid for the name - words to that effect on the web! something good durable and maybe under £40.00. sometimes i listen to nothing

I've heard good things about Sennheiser headphones (from my daughter, I use Bose headphones too :) ), and they're available in either in-ear or over-ear variants. They did well on the latest Which? test too, and are available from Amazon at around £15-£22 ish depending on the model.

Hope this helps
