Just a little query that I hope someone can help me with please.
A customer came in today with a really nice cloth carrier with a framed picture in that she had bought at a Castle Galleries branch. The bag had long ties at each side which meant the whole thing could be opened out to accommodate frames of very different sizes. It was all nicely printed with their logo etc.
Now the reason for my question is that I have been trying for ages to find some sort of bag that I can use to either give to customers (who spend a lot!) or sell to customers (who don't but want a nice bag) to transport their pictures home and in the case of artists to bring in canvases etc and transport them around. Ideally I want something I can have printed with my shop name.
Now obviously I could just phone up Castle Galleries (my nearest one is in Exeter I think) and ask them where they got them, but I doubt they would co-operate and give away their secret supplier. I have done an internet search and even contacted some merchandising companies with no luck so hoped that turning to the wise forum members might come up with some ideas - or even hints of what (if anything) you use yourselves for this purpose.
At the moment we are just wrapping the pictures in suitable protective film, bubblewrap, cardboard etc - just would like to upgrade this a bit so hope someone can help.
Thanks a lot

This has given me an idea. I have found heavy weight cotton bags for 79p each online onto which we could embroider our details. These are then given to good customers and can subsequently be re-used as shopping bags with some publicity for us.
Thanks to those who responded. Unfortunately the customer took the bag away with her otherwise I would have done a bit of detective work on it. I guess I will just have to keep looking around.
