For Sale high end underpinner saw and compressor

Post by daviddeer »

Due to a dramatic change in personal circumstances I have to reluctantly offer for sale my beloved framing equipment. It is with heavy heart that I am offering the following items:

Brevetti cross cut mitre saw with two end supports and measuring scale. The supports and scale are almost new the machine is an old one but cuts accurately through materials up to 3" high and 4" wide. It has a cover guard but no production stops. Model: Prisma Serial: 104. It is reliable and has been checked for calibration by a service engineer. Producing perfect mitres! Very heavy and solid.
The price for a brand new Brevetti is over £5,000
It comes with:
Charnwood dust extractor with connection hose on mobile base. Model W690. Works perfectly. Brand new price £150.00.
Casesse 486 underpinner. Computerised two location underpinner with autoclamps, autostop and foot operated clamp and pin function. Can be set to auto or manual action. Installed by Framers equipment. Works extremely well even on difficult or oversized mouldings up to 7.5". Supplied with some boxes of wedges to get you going. Have only lubricated with silicone spray, a real workhorse. Brand new these are over £4,000.
Comes with:
JUN-AIR 8-25 88lpm compressor. Silent and reliable, what more can I say. In perfect condition. Brand new price over £700
Also included air driven framing point gun and a nail gun on split air hose which I never got around to using. These new are around £200 each.
Also various lengths of moulding including obeche, basically one off's that I will never use again.
Total new package would cost you over £10,000 + vat and delivery.

I am offering everything as a job lot for £5,000 ono. I cannot split the items unless you want to pay £5k for each one as I need the money rather than the space. I am sorry to see these go as they have been such marvellous things to work with. If you want to make an offer please PM me.
These items are bulky and heavy and it would need 3 people to move the saw, although I can get it fork-lifted onto a van/lorry for you. If you want to arrange your own courier please do so as I am unable to obtain quotes for delivery etc. in the present circumstances.
The items are located in Bedfordshire and can be seen working.

When was this saw manufactured? Tried looking on web and can't seem to find that model?

Hi,
Can't be specific with date I found a picture of the nearest model here
image of prisma ce. Mine differs in that there is no catch bin underneath as I use a box and the extraction is centrally placed. In addition I have fitted two brand new supports for mouldings to each end with primsa measuring scales both sides. I bought these last year from wessex. It may be an older model but it cuts great mouldings!!

Some extra description here however I used to manufacture around 100 frames a day.
Hope this helps
