I've never done this before and I'm not too sure I can now, all I want to do is get a list of all my Mouldings, about 250 or so into Excel, can anyone give me some pointers ? I couldn't see anything in the Help file.
thanks in advance,
Adam/Bagpuss

Re: Outputting my mouldings to Excel ?
I think that this is an Excel question rather than an EstLite one.
EstLite automatically consolidates all of your suppliers' lists internally, though you must turn this feature on (Options/Mouldings/Moulding Tables Used/All Suppliers).

Re: Outputting my mouldings to Excel ?
Actually, Excel would be great but I'd make do with a printed off list from EstLite on a few sheets of A4, I can't even work out how to do that My mouldings are kept in one of these big sea containers a mile away, I want a list of my mouldings to take over there to check stock.JohnMcafee wrote:I think that this is an Excel question rather than an EstLite one.

Why the quote, Adam?
Have you tried clicking on "Print List" in the Stocked Moulding screen?

Re: Outputting my mouldings to Excel ?
Hi Adam
On your computer, go to My Computer -- Local Disk -- Progam Files -- open Est file -- open EstData file --then open Mouldings file, you then see your mouldings files as Excel files, these will open in Excel, then you can print them off
What I have done, I have kept these files on an external hard disk as my master files, I work on these files, like adding more mouldings, after you have saved these files as csv files, you just drag them over EstLit interface on the screen, you are then asked if you want to add that file, click OK , and they are added and your mouldings are updated.
Hope this helps
Steve
