The Fine Art Trade Guild - under new management!

Post by Louise Hay »

Hello everyone on The Framers Forum

I’m honoured to have been selected by the Executive Committee as the new Chief Executive of the Fine Art Trade Guild – I’m looking forward to working with them, the Court and our members to make the Guild really relevant to the art and framing businesses of today.

I've been at the Guild for 8 years now, working as bookkeeper, awards manager, GCF manager, export services and general go-to person so I think I know the industry pretty well, but there's always more to learn.

Thanks for all the kind messages of congratulations and offers of support – you may well find I take you up on them!

I will be at Spring Fair on the Guild stand, F51, and would love to meet you all there so do drop by for a chat.

Kind regards

Louise

Hi Louise,

Is it really a post on TF from the Chief Executive of F.A.T.G.

Welcome and congratulations on getting elected.

I am glad you have "come on board" so welcome to this forum. A sensible decision.

Our industry will only grow and survive if everyone is pulling together in the same direction.

We wish you and the rest of the F.A.T.G. team a succesful future

Congratulations Louise, we met at D & J Simons last night for the London Branch meeting, I was Joe's little helper in the Valiani demo :giggle:
It's great that you have joined the Framers Forum, I'm sure there are Guild members on the Forum who might consider attending their local Branch meetings if there was the occassional announcement on the Forum ? just a thought .
