Streaming Video of Framers Forum Live
Hi guys, i'm toying with streaming the seminars and other action live on the internet at the end of the month.
If i can get it working on the day (all depends on wireless signal) would you be interested in watching?
http://www.livestream.com/framersforum is a proof of concept enables interaction between viewers,

I think Vix was looking something similar in this recent post:

Great idea Grahame!
You could also make the videos available for download. Not everyone would be able to watch the streams at the time they are being done.

Yep that's the stuff Grahame. Knew you'd catch on sooner or later
You might be better downloading a video afterwards though rather than trying to do a live stream. That way you can edit if you need to.

Hi Grahame
looks like it could be a go'er for you.
I've recently been experimenting with videos for my Packaframe box and CanvasPak box (on U-tube) but hoping i'll be able to link them into the website when I get a minute! (so I know that you'll need to experiment and have a few dummy runs just to make sure your equipment is working as it should!)
If you can pull it off, who knows where it may lead.........the Oscars perhaps
Good luck
Vix.

Grahame your a star,
My wife is laid up after have a hysterectomy and I need to be around to take care of her. This means that I can't come to the event in person, but watching it on-line will be brilliant.
Thanks,
Mark

Will give it my best shot folks..
been doing testing over shop wireless and it works okay, so hotel wireless should be no problem.
Hoping to have at least 2 cameras on - one covering the seminars and one covering the main hall with the exhibitors so you can see how many people are in attendance. -- when there is no seminar we'll switch to the main hall for a change

Re: Streaming Video of Framers Forum Live
Right, we can have a maximum of 50 people watching online at present - on the day if we need more capacity I can increase that.
definitely 2 webcams, possibly more going to be used. - they are 7mega pixel cameras. all that we are really crucially depending on is the wireless internet to be of good enough quality.

Grahame
i'm presuming that you can also record at the same time as you're filming the live stream, so you could also upload to the web at a later date for those who can't watch it live?
