Framing a titanium posthesus

Post by Dove Cottage Crafts »

This is no joke....some friends of mine has asked me to frame this thing....horrible to look at but I suppose it means a lot to them as well as all the tales to tell about it as this is his second one. Has anyone done this and did you suffer any nightmares after?????????

I was thinking a deep boxframe and using a human image as a back ground incorparating the posthesus somewhere in the neck or shoulder region as a joke seeing things went wrong with this thing.

Regards....Carel

If this thing is an artificial arm, one could perhaps frame it holding something in it's hand. For instance, this could bring a new angle to framing a cricket bat. Might start a whole new trend in framing - cutting edge stuff here!

If it's not too late and the job is already done. How about this! I wonder if your customer ever saw the film "Terminator 2". If the film there was a cabinet containing a robotic arm from "Terminator 1" and a large looking silicon chip or microproccessor.

If you didn't see the film you wouldn't get the connection, but if you did you should. I'd expect you can get a copy of the video on eBay and maybe even include the picture cover from the box for added effect. Your local computer shop may be able to help with a dead or out of date microproccessor chip as people up-grade computers all the time.

Whatcha think?

(Sounds like a job for Roboframer)

BRILIANT!!!!!!!!!!!......I have a old proccessor. Not seen the movie myself but I can see the connection and it sounds good. The chap's wife wants him to use it as a walking stick of some kind which will also be good as they belong to some hiking club. I will await the outcome of theire decision...once again thanks.
