Return of The Mog
Hi all,
How are you all keeping? I have missed being here so much.
My soap opera of a life is continuing unabated, but the isolation as a result of my illness is dreadful. Suffice to say that a recent horror of an experience with my prescription meds has pushed me to the point where I need to fight my nervousness about getting in touch again, so here I am.
I'd love it if those of you who know me could take a moment to post on this thread to let me know how you are and what's happening in your lives: good, bad, indifferent, just bring it on. Even though I haven't been posting for a long time, please know that you've been in my thoughts (well - the ones that aren't mega-frelled), and that I have missed you a great deal.
It would mean so much to me to reconnect with ye, and it would be great therapy for what ails me. Also, after I get my toes back in the water maybe I might be able to offer some help again.
Blessings to you from the Mogster.

Re: Return of The Mog
hi mog - welcome back - missed your purrs ! we're the only prescription you need - rock on girl
to see you here again

when all is said and done - there is more said than done.
Re: Return of The Mog
You fought your nervousness & won - that's a good start.
Said it before but the most complex things are the hardest to fix when they go wrong and there's more 'moving parts' in your brain than in most others'!
This is what mine's like for example

Folks - search for 'all posts by Moglet' if you don't already know her. ..... a lot of reading - still the 3rd highest poster here, but try it - there's an 'aura' about many of her posts.

Re: Return of The Mog
Hi Aine,
It's nice to hear from you again. I hope that you are feeling a bit better and perhaps you will get a little boost from your many friends on the forum. Vee and I are getting along fairly well and things are looking up for us after a few difficulties. Vee has had a hysterectomy and is still recovering after about four months, but the worst is over. Vee sends you her love.
The business has been growing steadily in recent months. I'd like to say that the growth was something to do with me, but that would not be true. It's just good things happening for us at the right time and added to that, we are preparing to rent a Gunnar F1 Hybrid in the not to distant future. So generally, I'm feeling up beat about how things are going.
The forum has something special missing when you're not here, so it's very nice to hear from you. As per usual, there are some new faces and some who were newbies not long ago who are now old hands and helping the current newbies along.
Sadly, Spit is no longer trading and is another name who is being missed as well. He gave it his best shot, but this recession is not an easy one. I hope that he will be back one day.
I can't think of much more news from this end, so how's things from your end? Are you able to get out and about now that things getting more like summer?
Best wishes and lots of love,
Mark & Vee.

Re: Return of The Mog
Thank you all for the warm welcome back: it's so very much appreciated.
Mark, I was very pleased to read that you're in a good place with the business: behind the scenes I've been worrying how you were all faring, given the state of economic turmoil that seems to be continuing unabated (particularly in the retail sector).
I have been in touch with Spit on and off during my absence from the Forum, and I was very sad when I found out that he had had to cease his framing operation. Nevertheless, thanks for including it in your note. It was something that I needed to know about. I've visited his bike art website, and I'm really hoping he gets much-deserved custom for his work. I was able to loan him my long-format printer; a win-win because I can't use it at the moment, and a storage container would not be the best place for it. Besides I hate waste, and it pleases me to know that it's a help to himself down in 'We(s)t Wales.'
I was sorry to hear about Vee having to have a hysterectomy, Mark, but I'm glad that she's making a good and speedy recovery. My love to you both.

Hi Mogster, good to see you back on the forum. Lets have more of your experience, advice and humour it helps us and it will surely help you too.
