Customer Permission
In order to build up a collection of examples of my framing I am photographing most jobs for possible inclusion on the website. Someone pointed out that I probably should seek permission from the customer before I publish the photo to the gallery. Its does at least seem polite to do so, does anyone do this?

Re: Customer Permission
Rather than ask each and every customer, we say in our terms of trading that we reserve the right to use photographs of any of our work for website/promotion use. What we also do is give the customer the chance to opt out rather than opt in. Very few opt out, but there are some we would never use for various reasons and some of our clients work we would not dream of using for client confidentiality reasons.

Re: Customer Permission
I work on a collect/deliver system, and always ask a customer when I return their work to them, if I can include their picture and frame on my website. I've not had a refusal yet!
